ISETAN"S CHINA MOVE

       Japanese department-store chain Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings plans to open five new outlets in China by 2014 to bouble its network in the country.
       Isetan, which already has five stores in four Chinese cities, is in talks with real-esttefirms and partners to open new outlets in Shanghai and other coastal cities, said the Nikkei business daily.
       It plans to open a store in Shanghai as early as 2011, withh about 30,000 square metres in floor space, the Yomiuri said.
       In Japan, total department-store sales have declined for 12 straight years.
       But Japanese retailers, which also include supermarket and convenience-store operators, have been expanding their China operations in recent years.
